NOW, the SPOOKY PART!
Treasure House Fashions is CLOSED all week (OCT 10-14) for completely unexpected construction…hopefully with a much better outcome than we had with the floor situation!
This past year, we noted a crack in our wall on the B Side. An engineer confirmed that it was caused by water and weather damage from roof leakage. We replaced the roof and secured a highly recommended mason, Tom Kelly of Kelly Masonry and Remodeling, LLC, to repair the interior and exterior damage.
As Kelly prepped for repair, he discovered additional damage that had not been visible before. Another engineer provided inspection and consultation of the needed course of action. As a result, Treasure House Fashions is CLOSED October 10 – 14 for construction. Hopefully, repairs will be completed to resume business as usual starting OCT 17 – but please check our Facebook page for updates!
Of course, we want our building to be safe and secure for all. We have filed an insurance claim to cover the repair work, but ya never know if all will be covered. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, but it will bring permanent improvement. Thank you for understanding, and please keep those prayers of encouragement that the insurance will come through!
On a positive note, Inspired Women Paying It Forward North Chapter did come through with a generous check for $6,100. This compassionate group meets quarterly, and each member commits to giving $100 per quarter to the nonprofit that they collectively vote on after hearing three agencies pitch their charity. Treasure House was selected, and we’re so grateful!
