We received a very generous grant from 100+ Women Who Care to do Sponsored GNOs for agencies serving women in transition or crisis. This grant underwrites an evening of private shopping (gift certificates to shop and refreshments to enjoy) for up to 15 clients and their staff. The intent was to “fuss” over these ladies, give them undivided attention, and affirm the “treasure” within.
We had such a WONDERFUL evening with The Ladies Lounge, ladies. These are mommas doing the hard work of navigating life and who needed – and deserved – special time to fill them up!
We were joined by the Brown Mamas as “personal shoppers”, as well as some other tender-hearted THF supporters. The Brown Mamas added an extra financial boost to the shopping gift certificates and shared other resources and events available to these hard-working ladies.
We giggled. We laughed out loud. We cheered on each lady. We celebrated the special selections and the sassy strutting. These ladies had FUN!

The past doesn’t define the future. The best is yet to come. When you know your worth, you don’t give discounts – you add tax!
These ladies left refreshed, adorned, and ready to create their own legacies!
