100 Women Who Care selected Treasure House Fashions as their charity last quarter, and that means connecting with partner agencies for Sponsored GNOs (Girls Night Out) events at our House.
So far, we’ve hosted three events:
- SOJURNER HOUSE that supports moms in addiction recovery
- HEARTH that provides for moms experiencing often co-occurring challenges like homelessness and domestic violence
- YASU (Young Adult Survivors United) warriors in the fight against cancerEach gal received a $60 gift certificate to shop at our House after gtting 60% OFF! OK – so we got a bit generous and gave $75 to 90 worth of clothing instead! We’ve had generous donations – and these gals were sooooo appreciative and deserving of pampering!
After shopping with a personal shopper” (caring community women who love to “fuss” over these gals), we retired to an area for refreshments – pizza, veggies and cookies while Sally gave a talk on Rules for Dating (it’s ALL about knowing your WORTH!) We gave Grab’n’Go bags to the HEARTH ladies so they could get back to their little ones!
What could be more bonding than to shop and eat together?!?! All attendees enjoyed the precious time and left feeling inspired and grateful for an evening together!
That’s the mission of Treasure House Fashions! Feels great to support that, doesn’t it?
Because you’re WORTH it!
Founder and Executive Director of Treasure House Fashions In 2000, after navigating through a divorce and “inheriting” over $200,000… worth of debt, Sally purchased a retail store to augment her income. The rest is history and she drafted other like-minded women to walk alongside me responding to a need – tangibly “affirming the treasure” within women navigating challenging journeys.
