We’re all about promoting GOOD in our communities and in our neighborhoods! When Gigi Lincoln asked for our support for the Spring Hill Halloween Parade and Fall Festival, I responded “yes” – then realized it was the day before our signature fundraiser, PURSE BASH 2022…oops! Nonetheless, we asked THF shoppers and supporters to donate costumes for kids newborn to 18 (big kids need fun, too!)
Denise Munson of Munson Foundation, has a HUGE heart! She and her hubby brought more costumes in a big box truck. Kids and parents came to the elementary school on Monday to pick out costumes displayed on portable clothing racks for the big parade on Saturday, OCT 22nd.
Mounted police led the parade and were joined by police and fireman; over 250 kids participated, and vendors donated food! It was a festive, safe celebration that brought smiles of delight to kids and parents alike!
Gigi, attired as the “Fairy Godmother of the Hood” was joined by Councilman Bobby Wilson. THANKS to all who contributed to doing GOOD in the Neighborhood!
