We all have clothes that don’t fit our body or our lifestyle! Be intentional when you donate – if it’s not something you’d feel comfortable giving to your mom, your sister, or your best friend, it’s probably “too loved” for our ladies! We want each item to be a “treasure” because the women who grace our doors are treasures!
If you itemize, jot down the inventory of your clothing prior to coming. We’ll provide a tax receipt for your records. By law, we are not permitted to set a value on your donation. The IRS says to consider the age and condition of the clothing and how readily it can be used. The fair market value is the price clothing would get today in current condition – not price paid when new.
