Girls’ night out Treasure House Fashions is delighted to share our mission, and one way of doing that is to provide a GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT – an after-hours private shopping experience at our establishment. These events can be scheduled in two different formats: a GROUP EVENT or a SPONSORSHIP EVENT. We will do our best to work with you to create an event that will be both enjoyable and enlightening. GROUP EVENT: Some groups enjoy scheduling a social event for their organization. The shared shopping experience is like “girls playing dress-up,” and it is a wonderful opportunity for women to build relationships with one another and to become aware of who we are and what we do.
Here are some guidelines for a mutually successful event: · Establish the date and time at least two weeks in advance. Potential days and times are MON, WED, or FRI between 6:00 and 9:00PM or SUN between 2:00 and 6:00PM. · Treasure House Fashions will provide coupons for an ADDITIONAL 10% OFF the regular monthly promo and will share the Treasure House Story with attendees. · OPTIONAL: The organization may provide light refreshments (to be served in our hospitality room). The organization will provide all food and serving utensils and clean up at the end of the event. SPONSORSHIP EVENT: A group or combination of groups may choose to provide a GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT for another group of women. Possibilities may include a Single Moms group, a Senior Citizens group, or a group of women from a local agency providing services for women in transition or crisis. One church decided to bless the women teachers from an “at-risk” school. We want to be your resource for extending blessing to other women! Potential days and times are MON, WED, or FRI between 6:00 and 9:00PM or SUN between 2:00 and 6:00PM. · The sponsoring group underwrites one gift certificate ($25 for each recipient) and Treasure House Fashions will match with a second gift certificate. We will also share the Treasure House Story with attendees. · OPTIONAL: The sponsoring organization may provide light refreshments (to be served in our hospitality room). The organization will provide all food and serving utensils and clean up at the end of the event. · The sponsoring organization will provide some “ladies in waiting” to assist the women in selecting clothing and putting clothing away – investing time and fellowship as well as the gift certificates. Sometimes, babysitting and transportation also need to be provided. The mission of Treasure House Fashions is to “promote the dignity and self-esteem of women, particularly women in transition and crisis. Outward appearance is not an accurate reflection of your worth, but it can affirm the treasure that your truly are.” This mission has captured the hearts of each of our volunteers, and we love sharing it with other women. Often we feel like fairy godmothers – we wave a wand, change the outward appearance, and release the treasure within.
